Husband-and-wife team Chef Peter Tompkins and Jennie Wilson will be taking over the space as 11th Mile. Peter served as Head Chef at Quince Bistro and Noorden, and consulted on the opening of Little Sister. Little Sister was shortlisted for Enroute’s Best New Restaurant (2015), and named in The Globe and Mail’s Top Ten Best New Restaurants In Toronto (2014). Noorden hit #6 on Toronto Life’s Best New Restaurant List (2017), and was shortlisted for Enroute’s Best New Restaurant (2017). We purchase a whole cow and pig regularly from Local Valley Beef in Centreville and Strawberry Hills farm in Pembroke respectively.
Cuts that the animals may not have enough off are always sourced from the Province. Backyard Mushrooms supply us when the season allows. Our charcuterie is house made or from La Ferme du Diamont who also produces New Brunswick Fois Gras.
Our seafood comes from Maritime waters although we can't say for sure if it swam elsewhere, unless its salmon.
