Welcome to Uhuru Beach, formerly known as Shehe Bungalows. We are located in the village of Jambiani on the South- East Coast of Zanzibar island.
Uhuru Beach was the first private guesthouse to be established in Jambiani village. It has since got a solid reputation of being a place full of atmosphere. With over ten years experience in giving tourists the best Zanzibarian experience, you can be sure that your stay with us will be a memorable one.
Our brand new restaurant (opening February 2015) twill serve both local and european dishes at a very affordable price. You can choose to sit in the restaurant, out on the terrace or on the beach with the waves coming in just below you.
The bungalows are on the beach itself, meaning that you don't have to venture far to go for a swim when staying at Uluru Beach snd in addition our staff are always doing their very best to make you feel at home.
Wether you want to relax in the sun, or take part in other activities, Uhuru Beach is the place to be.
Being located on the most beautiful group of islands and islets some 25 miles off the Tanzanian coast, the Zanzibar Archipelago is headlined by Unguja (often referred to simply as Zanzibar) and Pemba.
