Restaurant, Bar & Rooms recently acquired by Mark Sargeant, serving beautiful Northern Spanish inspired food and drink
We are delighted to announce that The Wife of Bath in Wye has recently been acquired by Mark Sargeant, ex-right hand man to Gordon Ramsay and owner of multi-award winning restaurant Rocksalt in Folkestone.
The premises has been completely refurbished to breath new life in to this historic restaurant with rooms which was first opened in 1962 and has long held an excellent reputation around Kent.
Consisting of a beautiful main dining room, separate food led bar area and 5 existing guest rooms, The Wife of Bath opened it's doors at the beginning of December 2016.
The ethos of the menus are based on the fabulous local and seasonal produce that makes The Garden of England famous, whilst incorporating a strong nod to Northern Spain that flows through the look and feel of both the food, drink and decor of this much loved food destination.
