The Brewery Inn is a traditional pub in the Ironbridge Gorge, run by the same family for over 35 years. It’s only a short walk from the many museums and attractions. It is a value for money pub providing freshly prepared and cooked to order food, refreshing drinks and a wide range of snacks. The menu is extensive ranging from Sandwiches and Jacket potatoes to Lasagne, Scampi, Steak and its famous Ham off the Bone. There are many vegetarian options plus smaller meals for children and pensioners too. Local produce is used and delivered fresh daily. The premises have again been awarded a 5 star rating for food hygiene by Telford and Wrekin Council.
The pub has a comfortable lounge bar and an enclosed patio terrace with outstanding views of the River Severn. Tickets are available from the bar for day fishing. The pub is horse friendly with equestrian facilities, as featured in Horse and Hound magazine. They also welcome dogs on the patio terrace, where water is always provided for them. The property has recently undergone a huge refurbishment with renovations and improvements in the toilets and bar area; and outside to the patio terrace and smoking area.
Breakfast is served everyday from 9am and also lunches and evening meals. It’s best to book for groups of 8 or more to avoid disappointment. Children are always welcome with toys and colouring to entertain them. High chairs and baby changing facilities are available, and staff will always warm food or milk for babies. The pub is breast feeding friendly with a quiet area available.
The Brewery Inn does a lot of fundraising for local charities with events such as family games nights, clairvoyant evenings, fun bingo, quizzes and more. The lounge bar is available for hire, usually for free, for your own charity events, club/group meetings, family gatherings, baby showers, parties, etc. Groups can be catered for. There is a large free car park.
