Tamarack Lodge

Rating 4.8 (average of 103 opinions)

Once an abandoned wagon wheel forge, the Tamarack Lodge began as a family resort in 1947. Named for the Tamarack trees located on the property, this rustic estate with 28 wooded acres abuts Beach Pond and Pachaug State forest.

Tamarack Lodge

The Tamarack Lodge has a long history of hosting weddings, banquets, and special events. The Lodge’s new owners, John and Valoree Longo, are considering various offerings and recreational activities for 2017, including serving family dining, karaoke, and live music on the lawn.

The lodge can accommodate any size group from 20 to 200 for specialty catering, corporate meetings, retreats, and banquets. Hardwood floors and exposed beams compliment the natural beauty of this unique setting. There are several small dining rooms, a large banquet room, full service bar, spacious dance floor, and cozy stone fireplace area. Wi-Fi is provided.

Tamarack Lodge offers an enjoyable and relaxing get-away experience. Outside, the sky’s the limit on the lovely wooded landscape, complete with an outdoor pool. The old tennis courts are being revamped to a new and improved sports court. Enjoy picnics, BBQ’s, pig roasts or clambakes… you name it!

The Tamarack Lodge grounds are the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony.
