The Donut Shop is now serving breakfast and lunch! For breakfast we have a variety of pastries and yogurt, and for lunch a full salad bar, sandwiches and wraps. The Old School Cafe is also available to rent for reunions, showers and birthday parties.

The Old School Cafe opened for public use in the fall of 2016. The former Metcalfe County Schools cafeteria served students breakfast and lunch from 1958-2013. Most of the old school building was torn down to make way for the new elementary school. The cafeteria and gym were both saved. Now both can be rented by the public for special events. In February 2017, the Old School Cafe opened The Donut Shop, which is run and operated by Metcalfe County High School students. It's open Monday-Saturday and serves a variety of fresh pastries, yogurt parfaits and coffee. In the fall of 2017, we expanded The Donut Shop to include lunch Monday-Friday. The lunch menu includes a fully-stocked salad bar, sandwiches, and wraps.
