Micil Irish Poitín is named after my great – great - great grandfather Micil Mac Chearra and created in a time-honoured tradition. Five generations have preserved the craft, producing this unique poitín spirit for family and friends. It is my privilege to share with you a spirit steeped in heritage yet of its time. Every bottle is carefully handcrafted in our micro-distillery in Galway using 100% Irish grain and bogbean botanical. From its initial hint of spice, honey and lightly toasted malt through to its smooth velvety finish, this is a poitín to truly savour.
