Abner’s is an authentic old-time western restaurant that has gained worldwide fame for our mesquite grilled steaks, chicken, and ribs.
Li’l Abner’s was first established as a Butterfield Express stage stop in the early 1800’s. We have continuously operated as a restaurant and bar since 1947, located in a scenic rural setting, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Tucson.
Abner’s is an authentic old-time western bar and restaurant filled with memorabilia of southwestern history and has gained worldwide fame for our mesquite broiled T-bone, rib eye, filet, chicken, pork rib and beef rib dinners. Each dinner is served with a salad and all the garlic toast, beans, and salsa desired. For those of you with a sweet tooth try our pecan pie or homemade hot fudge sundaes!
If that’s not enough then come check out our live music Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 till 9:30 pm.
Although quaint, Abner’s has numerous large dining rooms which can be provided as private for dining rooms for groups of from 10 to 500. In addition to the dining rooms, there is a large patio for dining and dancing. All the cooking is done outdoors over an open fire.
