Our philosophy here at KIERANS KITCHEN is to use as many local producers as possible and the burren area is rapidly becomming one of the very best in ireland for artisan food producers. I have spent some time with all the producers to watch and learn how much time and effort goes into getting their product to award winning standards.
All our ingredients used in are carefully chosen and locally sourced. We only use the freshest ingredients from the burren and our emphasis is on traditional Irish cuisine. We take great pride in the quality of our food and have received many awards, the latest being the "Best Gastro-Pub in Munster 2012".
Pride of place is given to several dishes featuring Smoked Fish from the family's award-winning Burren Smokehouse. Try the Burren smoked fish platter which is served with organic salad or The award winning Hot smoked salmon. The Burren Smokehouse is literally over the bridge and well worth a visit. Why not sample our mouth watering pork belly sourced from local hand reared pigs in the heart of the burren. We only use fresh fish from doolin which is delivered every day. Our salad and vegetables are grown organicly in the heart of the burren and all our herbs come from our garden . Why not try one of our famous homemade fabiola's deserts with a dollop of our handcrafted burren black stout ice cream. We like to call our menu expierience THE BURREN ON A PLATE as almost 100% our suppliers are from the burren region.
