In 1965, my father built the first double-drive thru fast food restaurant in the Midwest called Clancy’s Hamburgers. For years, I listened to his mantra of success in the restaurant business… Q for Quality, C for Cleanliness, and S for Service. I vowed when I opened Grindstone Charley’s in 1982 that my restaurants would follow these core values that have helped us be successful in the restaurant business for almost 50 years. At Grindstone Charley’s, we serve only the finest quality, freshest ingredients, served by a friendly, hospitable staff, in a clean, warm, and friendly environment. The food and recipes at Grindstone Charley’s have come from many generations of experience. My son, Blake Fogelsong, now runs the daily operations for all the Grindstone Charley’s. I know that he will follow my footsteps with the same core values in the future that my father taught me. We take great pleasure in your satisfaction and hope you enjoy!
