Teppanyaki is a style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The word teppanyaki is derived from teppan (鉄板), which means iron plate, and yaki (焼き), which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried.
Cho Japanese Dining & Bar (Sushi | Teppanyaki) consists of 3 Teppanyaki stations which can sit up to 10 persons each overviewing the hotel swimming pool. With a flaming experience, watch our chefs set your plate on fire whiles preparing your meal. We offer a wide variety of choices from our Teppanyaki menu to cater to your every craving. We have beef directly import from japan that consists of Kobe Beef, A4 Wagyu beef and A5 wagyu beef. For seafood lovers, choices of King River prawns, Hokkaido scallops and cod fish all air flown in from japan.
While you walk to the other side of the restaurant, a 14 seater sushi counter greets you with the cozy and warm lightings and a nice center piece feature lights that hung beautifully at the center of the sushi counter. With 2 tatami rooms in front of the sushi counter, it seems like you have walk into a sushi restaurant in japan. All the fishes and seafood served here are all specially chosen from Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan to guarantee the best quality to be served here! While you savor the sushi and sashimi at the counter, you can watch our Sushi Chef, Michael Ong, preparing the dishes in front of you.
Join us after dinner at our bar that served international cocktails and the local Myanmar Beer served fresh from the tap. If you are whiskey lovers, we have a wide variety of Japanese whiskey ranges from Yamazaki, Hibiki and rare selections of whiskey from japan. And of course we have good selections of sake that is directly bring in from japan.
We have 2 private rooms that can combines and seat up to 24 persons for a cooperate events to private dinners. Or you can choose a small group event in our tatami rooms.
