Chinar has been famous Baku landmark and meeting place for decades. Today Chinar offers a range of dining and entertainment experiences that are amongst the finest in the world, created by international restaurant specialist Blue Sky Hospitality from London. Originally tea house under a cluster of chinar trees, Chinar has now been reborn as a magnificent building of contemporary architecture. The оriginal trees have been preserved on an outdoor terrace enhanced by bamboo screens and a tranquil water feature.
Chinar Is located near another famous Baku landmark: the statue of mythical Azeri hero Bahram Gur slaying a formidable dragon. This legend has been reinterpreted in the design of a mezzanine late night bar with DJ, sushi bar art videos; the Dragon Lounge.

Bamboo Bar And Tea House
Open from 18:00 untill late, The Bamboo bar and Tea House offers a bright and fresh environment with an outdoor terrace and bamboo grove.
The theatrical tea station serves the finest range of Asian teas, alongside gourmet coffees, fine pastries, Chinese dim sum and Asian snacks.
The Bamboo bar is also the perfect setting for a chilled beer or speciality Mar-Tea-Ni cocktail.
Pan Asian Dining:
A refined expression of modern cosmopolitan design, the restaurant combines a local sense of place with Pan Asian aesthetics and merges the strength of the chinar tree with the grace of the bamboo plant.
The magnificent theatre kitchen anchors the dining space, featuring a steam and noodle station, charcoal satay grill, wood-burning oven and Chinese turbo woks. Chinar’s signature dish is the Peking Duck prepared daily in a beautiful roasting oven in full view of the restaurant guests.
Another dramatic features the fully glazed walk-in wine and sake cellar, where a large variety of premium labels are stored ready for serving.
Menus offer grazing and full meal options, with authentic specialties from China, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Private Dining:
Two luxurious private dining rooms open onto their own beautiful patio terrace, decorated with bamboo plants and life size terracotta warriors imported from the Xian region of China.
With the option of combining the rooms into a large space, they have been designed with unique interactive ceiling recreating the dappling effect of the sun through tree foliage. Parties can define different moods according to the event – from a formal business lunch to a relaxed social evening or family occasion.

Dragon Lounge:
Overlooking the action of Chinar restaurant and Bamboo bar, sits the Dragon Lounge. Located on the mezzanine and accessed via its own grand staircase, the lounge floats above a mystical mist and bathes in surreal lighting effects.
Taking inspiration from dragons, mulberry, silk and fire, the design reflects cultural elements shared by Azerbaijan and China; and reimagines them in a superb contemporary environment of refind detail and luxurious materials. With various seating zones anchored by a Sushi Bar and a Champagne Bar, the space features video screens providing abstract digital art created solely for Chinar. A world class sound system and DJ booth spin funky mixing the best of Asian and European grooves.
Open from 18:00 until late, menus of sharing platters, sushi and sum are available alongside a full range of premium drinks, wines and cocktails.
VIP Lounge:
A warm and intimate salon for up to 30 guests, the separate VIP lounge features a fireplace adorned by a 24ct gold-leaf dragon wood carving.
Located opposite the Dragon Lounge and overlooking the Bamboo bar, the VIP lounge has its own entrance and cloakroom. Guests benefit from personalized service and discretion while watching the buzz of the scene beyond the mesh curtains.
The VIP lounge is available for private bookings by prior arrangement with Chinar management .
Food:

Takeaway:
External catering and takeaway dishes can be arranged – from lunch for two to a reception for 200 – all created with a style and taste that is uniquely Chinar.
