Proud to be one of few independent family run restaurants, Bridgeview Station was opened in 2009 by the Elder family, with the vision of opening Tayside's first gastrocafe: offering an unsurpassed quality of freshly prepared, locally sourced food within spectacular surroundings.
Set on Dundee’s prominent waterfront and housed within an iconic Victorian railway station, Bridgeview Station Café-restaurant boasts unparalleled panoramic views over the Tay estuary and aims to set a new standard for casual dining within the city. Nominated for two Architectural awards, Bridgeview Station was based on the original design of Dundee’s old Magdalen Green Railway Station and was constructed over 6 years with no expense spared, using local skilled tradesmen.
Bridgeview Station has many individual features but none more so than its authentic 1870’s railway carriage, which was operational during the period of Dundee’s infamous Railway Bridge Disaster, and is now host to our take-away outlet.
