Amelie's is the culmination of my life's love of food and wine. For over 45 years I have enjoyed a spectrum of opportunities in the hospitality industry.
A perfect integration of two cultures, Amelie's: A French/Italian Bistro is Ecuadorian-owned with a chef from North America with European blood and training. Our restaurant is named after our baby, just over 1 year old, who in turn is named after my favorite French film. We offer uber-fresh preparations of classic French and Northern Italian dishes. The atmosphere is casual, a true bistro, with touches of elegance and what we hope is the very best cuisine you will find in Cuenca.
